As you know, this is my first try at the dance genre and I think I nailed it very well. I have trouble with giving a good strong bass and a good "non distorted" kick drum. I am still trying to find the right technique on not using that because i don't like using limiters. Gets rid of all of the sound. I also found that you can make a longerlasting hihat if you layer it with a reversed hihat. AND.. I ALSO, learned that I can gate literally ANYTHING using this one mixing effect in a plugin called maximus. It's called grossbeat.
I must have used it at least like 4 -5 times in this song.

That's what I get for experimenting.
