impressive

great job you've done here; great song composition and instrument choice, great drum choice, non repetitive, loving the arp @ 0:14...

(P.S. it almost sounds almost more like a dnb/videogame track more than trance.)
Hey can you check out my newest house WIP and maybe give me some feedback? thankyou

Chimy727 responds:

hehe thanks! It is sorta a different trance style, but im really liking it! :D
sure thing!

Potential for this hoohaa

I must say, I would impressed with the intro as well as the DRUMS! but when the melody came in @ 0:20, some problems were created:

- Try using a different instrument or reducing how much that one cuts into my ears, and try to maybe change something @ 0:48, because that's where it gets repetitive.

- Nice finish @ 1:22, the end. Extend this bro, this could bloom into something crazy!

Can you check out some of my songs please? thankyou :)

thanks for the listen xD

Props

Props to you bro, this song made me want to get up and start dancing,
Nuff said, no constructive criticism needed.

amazing

this is house music, and it's wow. Nice drum beat. Nuff said. The saxophone kind of reminds me of "we speak no americano" which I'm sure is part of the reason why people like it so much :)

You have Potential

Some improvements:
- The way you push the airy effect from left headphone to right headphone is actually quite annoying.
- Add some bass.
- Slightly lower the volume of the effect @ 0:12-0:14, it's quite loud and suprises me as a cause of that.
- This may not be necessary, but to make the song sound better (or worse, it depends), put Maximus on the master channel instead of fruity limiter and mess around with the presets that Maximus has (presets in top left corner arrow of maximus window).

Other than that, this is really good for your first song. I love that transition effect @ from 0:12-0:14; I've actually used it in one of my songs before.

P.S. this song would fit into the genre of either "trance" or "house" because it's chill trance/ chill house. So I'd just put it in trance if I were you.

pretty good

This song is made up of too many annoying souding presets, even the drum track is a preset (but it sounds good lol, keep it). Try using some different sounds, especially for the lead saw thing, it just sounds like a buzz in my ears.

This is not a bad song, I'm not going to lie, the effects/transitions/song structure and all were all good.
Also, if you want to make it sound like hard trance, raise the volume of the bass and have a stronger, punchier kick drum.

(P.S. this song loops PERFECTLY!)

hi treysen! remember me?

You've got a pretty good song going on there. Now it's just to extend the song, add maybe a hihat and snare/clap/ whatevers necessary treble drums. Also @ 1:17, I was expecting something abit more added to the song rather than a repeat of 0:38 - 1:13 which makes it slightly repetitive.

Other than that, I think I'll give this a 5/5 because it's a good song :)
You've improved musically since I last saw you

Treysen responds:

Of course I remember you!! And thanks for the helpful review! I definitely will be working more on this ;)

Thank you!~

preset

too many presets used in this (the drums mainly) and it sounds kind of cheesy because of that. Nice bass though, nice song structure and melody. it is housey.

finally...

you got top weekly 5, you deserve it for this song.
