making fun of basshunter I see here! HAHA. I know, he uses the same melody in like almost all his songs. I hope he sees this and learns his lesson.
But yeah, I like your idea of showing everyone that top weekly 5 on newgrounds means completely nothing, because it does. I saw this one song that had # 1 score for 3 DAYS STRAIGHT WITHOUT BEING ZEROBOMBED. It is not on top 5 which means NG chooses from random. I tell you, the audio portal needs a better system. It is SOOO biased.

But yeah, nice way to show basshunter!

1 point for the singing
7 points for the music beat.
1 point for the making fun of basshunter using one melody all the time.

I think of someone serving a chinese emperor his tea and noodles in a garden filled with trees with pink flowerings on them. It kinda reminds me of the tvshow Avatar as well. Very calming indeed. I enjoyed it. Good job!

Amazing

You amazed me with this. I am not surprised with the amount of downloads there are per listen. Because usually on the front pages, there is usually a whole bunch of songs that have many votes and no downloads because the person 5'ed it themselves because it had a low score. I see it all the time. Most of the time the songs aren't even good. But this one has been up here all day considering the popularity rank from last night and it's rank right now. Because it deserves to be.
Great job! And have fun being on top weekly 5.

interesting

very unique indeed, very original. I like the airyness of the melody and all that reverb in this song, because it gives you that long ago type of feeling. I like how it is a story also.
Try to bring out the voice abit more too, because the music sort of drowned it away.

I like the song from the 1:30-2:00 mark, so if you could pu more of that inside there then that would be very nice. Becaus it got kinda repetitive at the end.

how did you get all of those effects in? you must have been making music for a while I can tell. The best I can do is take presets and mix them. and automations. That's about it for me right now! in my 6 (almost 7) months of making music I still can't do shit!!

some of these effects i do in the piano roll, one of them is a flanger in the master channel that has an automation on it, some of them are just sweep ups, one is a screaming voice, idk i just do it xD

Good title for this. Perfect actually. I do see too forest spirits floating in the middle of a forest in the game "Jak 2" for playstation 2. and they have green mist glowing around the outline of their spirits.

Very unique from alot of ambient songs I have heard. And it's your "FIRST" I repeat "FIRST" attempt? You are going somewhere with this ambient genre thing. You should continue making ambient music. You have potential.

ya the re submit was from a minor detail that i had to change, even though its somethin a listener wont even notice. me as thw writer noticed it everytime and had to fix it. and this is the propper place, i had to put it back here.

i sure will look into more ambiant stuff, its fun to make, but hard, i struggled a lot on this compared to making dance stuff. you cant get away with just a good beat and some crazy synths here lol, you gotta have every little detail work because every little detail is key to the feeling of the song.
and to write ambient, you need feeling.

the choppiness gets you moving...

I love the choppiness. I just gets you bumping up and down in your seat.
Very original and unique also. I have never seen a FUNK/HOUSE song.
You did a very good job of combining the two I must say.

Kinda repetitive though but hey, I understand that it's only a WIP and you're still working on it. It's a pity to have only a WIP version of your song on top weekly 5 because I bet you're just thinking:

("aw man I didn't even get to finish it! now the score is going to be only 3.69/5 !!) which it is for somereason. Oh well, I'm guessing that you got zerobombed by a blam group, because on wednesday morning I was like: ("why is the score so low").

This deserves 5/5 10/10 even for a WIP. Keep it up bro!
