great

the high pitched saw synth really cuts into the ears. why don't you use fruity free filter, have the filter on No Q, and decrease the frequency abit so it cut at the air.
Everything else is perfect for a hiphop beat, you have potential, you have talent sir.

GrantBowtie responds:

Hey thank you so much for the review. I know i should fix the saw but I was pretty eager to submit this.

You've come along way

You're gonna be big one day, just keep going at the music making.

(P.S.)
I've always wondered, how do you do that shortening filter effect to the synth @ 0:44 - 0:54? I've been searching forever on how to do it but I don't know what it's called.

ShootingStar responds:

Thanks a bunch :) Btw I'll tell you how to get the filter later :)

great... nuff said

YO dude, what mastering plugin do you use? I need it for the bass in my music! I just used clear master preset on maximus for my songs.

ioneofmany responds:

Sometimes I use izotope ozone. Bass Boost is pretty sweet if you use it right as well. :)

pretty good

the parts with the vocals don't flow that well because the vocals need to be fixed up abit and the kick is flat. Everything else is good.

Cassidy-Morgan responds:

You got it DaveGuy!!! XD

pretty good

I felt the drums could have been better and the kick drum could be more audible and moving. I also kind of felt that the song really didn't change much throughout, so it was slightly repetitive. Good use of melodies though, i see alot of potential for this remix to become something great. Keep it up!

Question: What mastering plugin are you using? maximus? fruity limiter? sound goodizer? it would be useful if i knew

biggab responds:

Thank you for your advices! I used Fruity Stereo Enhancer and Sound Goodizer for the vocals...

Nice ambience

Dude i could totally use this for a video game! Sounds awesome. Good job! Maybe not techno though...

LangolierVII responds:

i know :P i randomly chose techno randomly

yes

perfect! it has more oomph to it now!!! hooray

MrFijiWiji responds:

OOMPH! haha thnx man

Wow, you're getting better a trance

Occasionally, try to slip in a hihat for drum track but that's the least of your worries. Other than that, everything else is perfect. Great flow, great synth choice, great melodies, love the filtering.

Great job

MrFijiWiji responds:

thnx man i agree about the hihat part... and btw i made the lead myself! and some of the other synths too! im weening myself off those nexus presets slowly...

cool!

great breakdown to a slower speed than the last song

DJ-Chilvan responds:

Thanks! Yea, I really like the mellowness of this track. I prefer it to part one, even though everyone else likes part one better.

great...

Just needs a stronger kick, that's the only problem.

DJ-Chilvan responds:

Yea, I kinda noticed that, but any stronger, it would most likely ruin the cadence of the song. I'm glad you liked it though, and thanks for the review!

I'm currently a music producer, and a future club/party/rave/what ever DJ.
