for your first song this is amazing. YOu will get good someday I can just tell. This itself already deserves an 8. If a first song get's an 8 you KNOW that's a good sign.

Why don't you try using FL studio for 49.99 U.S.D or just get the demo so you can't save and just save as an MP3 whenever your done and re-import into FL studio whenever you want to work on it again. (just drag from folder or harddrive into the pattern playlist. the 49.99 version can save as an FL studio file JUST so that you won't have to rearrange the notes all the time.

To tell you the truth, I make all of my songs with the demo version of FL studio.

weirdly addicting

I love that hypersaw 2 FL studio 8 preset you used. I use it in a lot of my song. I just really like the overly done swooping fruity free filtering effects. I just love how the kick is overpowering (I am saying "I just love" too much now haha).
10/10 for you sir. This reminds me alot of: Frantic!!! by HQRSE. Because you used the fruity love philter like he did.

please make it louder

this song was really quiet overall volume. and no I can't just turn up my headphones because my headphones were the same volume level for other songs and I could hear them just fine. It's a good start in terms of melody type. Continue making more techno music and expounding on your skills and you could get good one day.
Honestly, I like it when people make their first songs and then make a 2nd one. Once they make a 2nd one then it shows that they are interested in music. And I appreciate that in noobs. KUTGW man. "don't stop making music"

Done and done. Sorry that was a bit of a problem, forgot to enhance a couple things in the mixer that would up the dB for this thing. It should be much better.

wrong genre haha.

you put it into FUNK by mistake. Change it dude. some people will forget to read your comment and be like "hey, this isn't funk" and then give you a review like mine except I know you said it was trance, so change it to trance.
Also, please try to change that WAYYY distorted bass at 0:26 - 0:52. It get's really annoying.

seriously, the score is too low for this progressive trance song. I am guessing that the score must have been 4.8 and then some noob went and brought it down to 3.92
well here is 3.92 (+0.17)= 4.09, some food, water, and shelter to keep you going.

the starting one is called moon ray
the gated one is called eurogate.
Please don't use sytrus presets ONLY. actually compose something.
And try not to make it so repetitive as well. Add some variety man.

I did take the presets and make my own melody of that, and yes, you are right. I don't if that would count as 'only.' I'm personally hoping it doesn't count.

yes I know it is a big sound file because it's a long song and you can't do anything about that and in order to conserve space you had to decrease the bitrate quality to around 100 kbps. Because of NG's size requirement rules -_- SIGH. But other than, this is some really good progressive trance! I can see this in a club right now, with better quality.
